Barb Fletcher, who was one of first on the scene of accident to save Jeremy, sums this book up with one statement she made after the recovery: “It just wasn’t your time. You do a lot of good for people, a lot of good for this community. That’s why you’re still here.” The account of injuries sustained while barely missing vital organs is shocking. Wow. One only can think it’s for a reason. This book definitely makes one pause to really think about what in life is truly important. It causes you to think about what your true purpose is in life. It will also show the wide impact high profile people can have in helping others. Good read. Good person. Thank you Jeremy for all you do to help others. Highly recommended read.

The greatest joy in reading My Next Breath came from Jeremy Renner’s descriptions of his emotional experiences. Jeremy is a great source of information about the importance of family bonds, perseverance, focus, and mindfulness. These subjects outweigh the horrendous details of the physical damage and recovery he experienced due to the devastating “incident” with a 14,000 lb. snowplow.

Honest, inspiring and so well written. Enjoyed it from beginning to end.
